Some people even refer to them as boxes. Dumpsters are what commercial businesses have that are regularly emptied by the local trash service. Our containers are used for large waste, debris, trash, etc. projects. They are rented for a period of time and returned when the project is completed. How much can I put in a Mako container? Each container carries a certain number of tons. You can fill your dumpster to that weight limit. You are not allowed to overfill the container. Your waste needs to be level or below the wall. Containers have to be covered with a tarp when hauling to the disposal site. 15-Yard: Additional charge for more than 2 tons (4,000 lbs) Holds approximately 4-6 full size pickup truck loads 20-Yard: Additional charge for more than 3 tons (6,000 lbs) Holds approximately 7-9 full size pickup truck loads 30-Yard: Additional charge for more than 4 tons (8,000 lbs) Holds approximately 11-13 full-size pickup truck loads 40-Yard: For commercial or industrial use only Holds approximately 15-17 full-size pickup truck loads What if I can’t lift an item over the wall? There are gates on the ends of all containers.
